Herend Porcelain Manufactory has impressed the world with its handmade porcelain creations for close to 200 years. With signature patterns and a special attention to detail, the Hungarian manufactory produces coffee and tea services and all kinds of dinnerware and trays, with touches of gold and platinum.
Queen Victoria, Rothschild, Apponyi: over the decades, Herend kept the tradition to name a pattern after its first prestigious customer. To this day, these patterns have been Herend's best-sellers and are still appreciated by porcelain aficionados from North America to Japan.
Made famous by the Grandmother of Europe,
Herend's products have been owned by numerous royal families and heads of states worldwide, such as the emperor of Japan and the late sultan of Oman.
Ideally Located in Avenue at Etihad Towers The Al Mazroui Group has reached out to partner with the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, creating
Herend UAE.
The Abu Dhabi-based company caters to the demand for premium porcelain in the UAE and the Gulf region. Looking for the perfect spot in the capital, Herend UAE has picked the most suitable one:
Avenue at Etihad Towers.
This luxury retail destination for fashion and jewellery connoisseurs is located in the capital’s iconic and prestigious Etihad Towers development, facing the Emirates Palace.
The Abu Dhabi boutique is a replica of Herend’s flagship store in Budapest, with a local touch. Used to work on prestigious projects,
I-ONE Interiors, an interior design contractor of the Group, made sure to let the brand’s spirit reflects in its fit-out, while adding its own creativity. For example, the classic black façade, similar to the one in Budapest, has been embellished with golden fish scales, a traditional Herend pattern.
Moreover, the ample selection of luxury porcelain pieces brought from Hungary is also adapted to the local market with the traditional
finjan as a star-product. These tiny cups used to serve Arabic coffee are an ancestral symbol of Arab hospitality. Customers will be happy to rediscover them hand-painted with Herend’s signature patterns, alongside classic European vases, home accessories and dinnerware.
