World Class Auto Refinish Training & Development Centre in Dubai

Beginning of April 2017. The moment when Axalta, the leading global supplier of liquid and powder coatings inaugurated its 47th Automotive Refinish Training Center in the world in Dubai, having as local partner Al Mazroui Paints Division awarded with “Platinum Recognition – The Longest Standing Importer of Spies Hecker in the U.A.E, since 1988” (Spies Hecker, one of the largest suppliers of refinish products, brand of Axalta).
The launch and on-site demonstrations were honored with the presence of Mr. Charles W. Shaver (Chairman & CEO) and Mr. Fadi Medlej (Managing Director - MENA) from Axalta Coating Systems, together with Mr. Saeed Al Mazroui (General Operations Manager - Al Mazroui Group) and Mr. Alexander Bell (General Manager - Al Mazroui Paints Division).
The opening of this next generation facility followed the October 2016 opening of Axalta’s regional office in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA).
Dubai Automotive Refinish Training Centre is the first of its kind in United Arab Emirates and will host world class training programs for body shop, repair and refinish technicians to hone their skills and learn to use the latest coating technologies found in Spies Hecker®, Standox® and Cromax®, Axalta’s premium refinish coating brands, and other refinish brands which are available in 18 countries in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
Axalta’s consistent investment in product development and technology solutions has resulted in innovative waterborne refinish coating systems that enable its customers to reduce waste while being more productive, profitable and sustainable. The Centre will enable customers to maximize their use of these products which can reduce the time and energy needed to repaint vehicles.
