It’s so difficult to indulge all tastes! Sweet or salty, bitter or sour, there are so many preferences.
Not to mention about daring combinations such as coffee, cardamom & pistachio or quince, mango & chilli or corn, hot pepper & rosemary. Many people are reluctant to go for novel combinations, but as we have been already used to chocolate with hot peppers or red melon salad with cheese, we don’t see why we couldn’t experience even more.
Then it’s the presentation of the food. That’s another “critical” step in people’s choice. Is the plate too empty, there is too much design on your dish and less food? Remember the excitement or disappointment when your order was served?
Sounds difficult to satisfy all of these? Could be, if you want to be a cook but you don’t enjoy cooking.
Well, we dared to adventure in a niche area, under the magic wand and guidance of Chef Markus Biedermann, member of Chef Cercle of the Cuisiniers Bern, the inventor and initiator of Smoothfood, and we founded Austrian Bakery, which produces various convenience products for the Smoothfood AG.
Because we care about old people and good tastes.

Our dishes are intended to care homes, hospitals but also retail customers and not only. They are prepared in a flash from the deep freeze straight onto your plate, are easy to calculate and automatically stimulate the appetite with their taste and aroma. The range includes meat dishes, fish, various vegetables, starchy accompaniments and fine desserts.
The products are made in line with recipes by Markus Biedermann using all the latest cooking and cooling technologies and under the strictest hygienic conditions. Only absolutely top-quality basic ingredients with guaranteed proof of origin are used. They are exported to the US, Canada, Russia and Japan.
