Mohammad Arif Butt – a model of loyalty

Oct 2017 | Al Mazroui
Proactivity, involvement, efficiency, dynamism and last but not least loyalty are qualities hard to find on the labor market nowadays, especially when fresh graduated or young employees aim to get on higher positions in the shortest time possible, without necessarily having the required experience or knowledge, jumping from an employer to another which actually could damage their professional understanding and training.

That could be the reason why companies prefer old school professionals or push their HR to dig the ins and outs of any applicant hoping for a potential guarantee that they will place the bets on long term commitments.

Fortunately in our group of companies we are lucky enough to have more beautiful stories to tell about model employees and some of them even push the limits of commitment.

Turning back 40 years ago, we discover Arif, a young financier whose dream was to join a trustworthy perspective team where to exercise his beloved professional passion and develop his skills.

Today, after a bit more than 4 decades, we find Mr. Arif in the same team, preparing for a well-disserved retirement, leaving behind a legacy as gratitude for his accomplished dream: two sons working for our companies. One of them stepped on the same path of finance as his father, the other got the way of IT, both following parental wisdom and guidance.

“I can still work thank God” says Mr. Arif at his 74 years old. With a lively glow in his eyes, he is ready for a new working day but nowhere else than in the same group of companies which he loyally served for all his professional lifetime.

This is an example of loyalty and therefore we thank our dear colleague for his devotion. We're glad to work with people like him. Our success will always be the fruit of a job well-done by a professional team long-term committed to our objectives.
