Feb 2017 | Al Mazroui
The Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), a yearly event which took place from 7 – 10 November 2016 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), is the world’s new meeting point for Oil & Gas professionals. Held in the capital city of the UAE, it is a natural crossroads between East and West, and is fast becoming one of the world’s most influential energy hubs of the 21st century.
This year’s edition was set to be bigger and better than ever before, providing the perfect combination to do business with a record breaking number of exhibiting companies, as well as learning from a conference program that is already one of the biggest in the world based on 2,700 submitted abstracts and 160+ technical and strategic conference sessions with 700 speakers. Unquestionably, ADIPEC 2016 was truly an international exhibition and conference and this year it hosted the presence of 33 leading NOCs & IOCs, 95,000 attendees and 120 participating countries.
We were there again, as we have been present every year since ADIPEC’s inception, through our subsidiary companies stands from the Industrial Technology Unit, strategically placed in the focal business points.
As we like more a not-so-formal approach during the exhibitions, both our engineers and guests enjoyed discussing topics about new technology and our already implemented products and services since more than 40 years of experience as service providers mainly for ADNOC Group of Companies and for international key-player contractors, as well as vendors representing through commercial agencies high-quality prequalified manufacturers from the most powerful industrialized countries from EU, USA, Japan and not only.
Our Industrial Technology Unit shared its know-how about Project Management, Design, Engineering and HSE Consultancy Services, Turnkey Solutions including Procurement, Supply, Decommissioning, Installation, Precommissioning & Commissioning, Maintenance and Refurbishment of Electromechanical, Instrumentation & Control and Process Equipment for Oil & Gas, Power, Defence, Marine and other Industrial Sectors.
