As a new year is starting, I hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy.
If there is one lesson we have learned this past year, it is how to face change.
Change is inevitable. Be comfortable with a changing environment and gain new knowledge from it in order to surmount the obstacles on your way. Always expect changes around you, observe and learn to adapt.
It is true that fear often prevents us to act but the situation is generally not as bad as we imagine it. Fear is a healthy instinct warning us about a potential danger, pushing us to investigate a situation and act accordingly. Feel the fear, act and move forward.
In addition, old beliefs and habits may not work on our new path. Be open to new ideas and apply them to achieve your objectives. Refine your perspective, thinking pattern and knowledge to be comfortable in a new chapter of your life.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the Al Mazroui Group managed to adapt to an unprecedented situation and carry on with its activities. We have accustomed ourselves to what some have called the ‘new normal’. Our Group has taken measures in order to continue working and conducting business whilst staying safe. We have thus been able to preserve our existing projects and to develop new ones. We were also able to keep our employees and secure their jobs. Once again, the different companies forming our Group have shown their adaptability and resilience.
Similarly, our country has proven its great capacity to adapt by implementing new rules and new ways of working for the safety of all. Large campaigns of testing and tracing have been carried out; numerous public services have been digitalised; remote working has been intensively developed and major events have been held virtually.
Fortunately, we are starting a new year with the great news of vaccines being administered. Efforts around the world are paying off and this gives us all hope for 2021.
