Chairman's New Year Message 2020
Dear friends,
As a new year is starting, I look back at 2019 and I’m happy with our achievements and hope to multiply our successes in 2020.
2019 has been a fruitful year for the Al Mazroui Group. I wish to thank all the employees and partners who have contributed to our achievements. Indeed, we have seen the realisation of several important milestones to secure our Group’s position for the future. The world around us is evolving rapidly and we have shown, once again, that we know how to adapt to change.
I am confident that we are in the right sectors: sectors which fuel the future, supplying solutions to support our region’s development. With a stable and balanced portfolio of businesses and robust abilities, our prospects as a Group are promising.
January is usually when we reflect on the past year and decide what we want to take with us to the next one. However, we often tend to focus on the negative aspects in things in our professional as well as in our private life. It is primordial to train our mind to focus instead on our victories; to thus duplicate them.
By analysing the areas we manage well in life, we can find out what makes us successful and incorporate it into areas where we could improve. When we focus on what is working well, we become aware of the elements which have helped us to be successful in the past.
As the year begins, make plans, visualise your goals and move toward reaching them. Let your objectives permeate your mind, inspire and motivate you.
I am sure that together we will accomplish further growth in 2020 and make a greater contribution to the United Arab Emirates and the region.
