The iconic dhow-shaped building of Dubai Opera is a masterpiece of contemporary design, and a stylish tribute to Dubai’s maritime history. The shimmering dhow shaped structure lies in “the most prestigious square kilometer in the world” – Downtown Dubai, across The Dubai Fountain from The Dubai Mall and attracts a rich mixture of home-grown and visiting entertainment from around the world.

The building’s exquisite design was completed in 2012 by Janus Rostock of Atkins architects (see also their inspired creations and talent at Burj Al Arab, The Crescent in Baku and China Huraong Tower designs) and executed by Emaar Properties.
